Scrubs and Linen automation using scrubEx® and alEx® systems

We are now the UK distributors for the advanced IPA systems of linen automation that are in 400 US hospitals and growing very fast. The Scrubs automation system is called scrubEx® and is an intelligent dispenser and receiver to manage, issue and collect scrub suits or doctors coats. The alEx® system is a similar intelligent system for Linen automation.

Avantec have installed these automated dispensers for New hospital Doctors' coats at Guy's and St Thomas' hospital. They are now rolling this out for all scrubs in theatre departments and A and E as well as for 800 junior doctors. Using the software to manage and understand demand there are significant savings for the Trust and the Laundry.
