KCH already have a highly-sophisticated patient level costing system called Agnentis, which they sell to other UK Trusts. To complete the picture on patient costs, Omnicell is now feeding all consumable cost usage in real time into their system. This is already showing weaknesses in the previous ad-hoc manual systems and enabling King's to code better, make better decisions, account for all product usage and lead in the field of reference-costing for procedures.
