GSTT rolled out Omnicell to all departments, theatres and wards for Supplies and Medicines. Orthopaedic Theatres, Catheter Labs and Cardiac Theatres are automated in addition to twenty nine large ward areas and the balance of departments which will follow.

SmartStore™ is the name Guy's and St Thomas' have given to their supply chain project. As well as automating the stock control at the point of use the Trust is streamlining all the processes from electronic order to warehouse consolidation to automated paperless ordering.
