Catheter Module

The catheter module with 4 retractable arms allows users to store catheters of varying lengths. Each module can store up to 48 different catheter items, 12 per rack.

Suture Module

With three retractable drawers, the suture module allows users to store up to 24 boxes of sutures of varying sizes. As many as 20 suture modules, holding 480 suture boxes can be stored in a 3 Cell Omnicell Cabinet.

Implant Tracking System

An optional addition to the Omnicell software, the Implant Tracking System provides for the accurate recording of implant lot and serial number information at the point of use. The system ensures that items are traceable in the event of a recall.

Pharmacy Drawers

Omnicell cabinets can be configured with any combination of drawer types to provide varying levels of control and security. The range of drawer options includes open matrix, guiding light, sensing lids, locking lids, single dose and double depth. The extensive range of cabinet and drawer configurations ensures everything from IV bags and original packs to individual doses can be accommodated.

External Return Bin

Mounted outside the Omnicell cabinet, the controlled access External Return Bin allows users to return pharmacy items to the system.

Omnicell FlexLock for fridges

FlexLock is a remote locking mechanism enabling users to track items stored in external cabinets or fridges. It attaches to the exterior of the cabinet or fridge and uses Omnicell's 'guiding light' technology to guide the user to the appropriate location.

Open Systems

The wireless OmniScanner and other options enable hospitals to take advantage of the full functionality of the Omnicell software for items stored on open shelves.

Patient Medication Profiling

With an interface to the hospital's electronic prescribing system, this feature displays complete patient medication information on the cabinet screen. This feature can be used to limit access to prescribed patient medications.

Web Browser

An integrated web browser gives users quick and easy access to intra and internet services eg. third party drug information databases which can provide information on interactions, contraindications, routes of administration and educational materials.

OmniDispenser

The OmniDispenser module incorporates automated single-dose dispensing within the Omnicell cabinets. With this module, access to medications is controlled and secure and the opportunity for stock discrepancies and dispensing errors is significantly decreased.

SecureVault

SecureVault combines the storage and dispensing features of an Omnicell cabinet in the central pharmacy for controlled drugs storage. Using a sophisticated barcode based software program the SecureVault automates the management of controlled drugs and tracks their use throughout the hospital.

Anaesthesia Workstation

The Anaesthesia Workstation is a variation of the half-cell Omnicell cabinet and provides operating theatres with a complete system for the management of anaesthesia supplies at the point of use.
