A data management system that delivers information and analysis for users throughout the hospital, as well as controlling and reordering the stock at the point of use. But it is also an open system using a wireless scanner and a simple PC for low risk, well-managed areas. The simple act of the user in logging in and selecting a charge code creates a total audit chain and information trail in its wake. The software then uses this information to deliver a huge array of benefits for the Trust. All the cabinets, open systems and the server are linked through the hospital PC so it acts as a key communication tool throughout the Trust.
